Glory to the Beauty Gawds! Our favorite Swedish retailer H&M, has just announced their plans to launch a new 700+ piece beauty & makeup collection! Slated to hit 900 stores worldwide this Fall, their new line will include make-up, skin care, hair care products and beauty tools.
Wrapped in sleek black and metallic gold packaging, this new collection will replace the current beauty products sold in their stores. This is definitely a good look for their brand, because I’m not a fan of the beauty products that they currently carry. The packaging looks cheap, and I wasn’t really impressed with the quality of some of the products that I’ve tried either. However, the product junkie in me is definitely willing to give them another shot.
Sara Wallander, H&M’s Beauty concept designer shared:
We are very excited to have ‘fashion for the face’ on offer at H&M. It’s an opportunity to be inventive, creative and to have fun with colors.
I’m already a big fan of the NYX & ELF cosmetic lines as they both offer a lot of bang for your buck, so I’m very interested in seeing what H&M is cooking up for us as well. After almost seven decades in operation, H&M has grown to be the second largest clothing retailer in the world. So, hopefully this Fashion giant plans on bringing the heat with this new line. Keep in mind that the collection is also set to run for $7 – $25. Hmmm..very easy on the pockets. I can’t wait!
