Oprah Winfrey Donates $12 Million Dollars To Smithsonian Museum!

I have always been in awe of Oprah Winfrey. From her humble beginnings, her amazing journey through entrepreneurship, to her continuous outpouring of generosity. In our eyes, she is “The Ultimate” Nautie Girl! Oprah not only embodies, but truly defines every characteristic of what a Nautie Girl could ever aspire to be. Not only does she continually set the bar high, but her journey reinforces faith in so many dream chasing hustlapreneurs like myself, that dreams really can come true. Her latest display of generosity is definitely a testament to that.

The media mogul has donated a whopping $12 Million to the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture. The chairwoman and chief executive of the Oprah Winfrey Network has been a member of the museum’s advisory council since 2004. According to the Washington Post, Oprah had previously donated $1 Million to the museum back in 2007 and combined with this, it is now the museum’s largest donation. For recognition of her generosity, Oprah’s name will go on a 350-seat theater.
